Rooted In Memory
Operating from Fife, Scotland, Pictish Disco is the creative vessel for musician and producer MCJ. It is a fiercely independent project dedicated to self-produced, experimental soundscapes that resist easy classification. Here, ancient folk memory meets modern signal processing. The music is an evolving conversation between original songwriting, spoken poetry, windswept landscapes, analog electronics, and driving guitars. It is reflective, grounded, and deeply tied to the Scottish identity—not as a static relic, but as a living, breathing frequency.
